Visit of Austrian Delegation
On March 3 and 4 an Austrian delegation, consisting of approx. 20 personalities from science and economy as well as some media representatives, visited the Cluster of Excellence Internet of Production. In addition to the greeting ceremony hosted by Rector Prof. Dr. Ulrich Rüdiger, the delegation was welcomed with apresentation of the cooperation between RWTH and Forschungszentrum Jülich (Center for Simulation and Data Science). Both institutions unite their their competencies in a research alliance - JARA. Visits to the Aldenhoven Testing Center and the demo factory were also part of the agenda, alongside various lectures and laboratory tours. The delegates from Upper Austria received a variety of insights current developments in Aachen research.
