Prof. Dr. Wil van der Aalst named 2021 IEEE Fellow

Professor Dr. Wil van der Aalst from the Chair of Process and Data Science (PADS) has been named an IEEE Fellow for his scientific achievements in the field of "Process Mining" and "Workflow Processes". Wil van der Aalst is one of the most cited computer scientists worldwide and is considered a proven expert in the areas of process mining, business process management, workflow management systems and data science. Van der Aalst was won on January 1, 2018 as an Alexander von Humboldt professor at RWTH Aachen University. He is one of our Principal Investigators in the framework of the Cluster of Excellence research of the Internet of Production IoP, deputy spokesperson and CRD Coordinator in the "Infrastructure" research area .
