Martin Liebenberg (KBSG) and Prof. Matthias Jarke (DBIS) received the Best Paper Award at the 32 International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE’20) for their exploratory paper “Information Systems Engineering for Digital Shadows: Concepts and Case Studies”. It is already the second time after 2016, that a paper from Informatik 5 received the best paper award at CAiSE, making the chair the internationally most successful team in this regard. Moreover, Prof. Jarke delivered the final keynote address to the conference titled “Data Sovereignty and the Internet of Production”. CAiSE’20, originally planned in Grenoble, France, was this year organized as a video conference event which drew over 1.200 participations to discuss the 30 accepted papers (acceptance rate: 18%) and participate in further tutorials, workshop, and fora. Further information, including videos of the conference talks, are available through the website caise20.imag.fr.
