Sample Studies in engineering for girls 2021

This year's "Sample Studies in Engineering for Girls 2021" at RWTH, accompanied by the Cluster of Excellence IoP, once again took place virtually and offered interested students numerous exciting insights from July 26 to July 30, 2021. The program included workshops and virtual tours in addition to numerous advisory services focusing on how to decide on a fitting university course. An introduction to robotics and first experiences in programming a robot were on the agenda, as was a virtual visit to Forschungszentrum Jülich including a round of talks with female scientists. The varied workshops on the topics of product and process design, app programming, as well as metal recycling and traffic planning enabled the young women to explore concrete fields of work for female engineers.
