Research and transfer: Business met science and research within the framework of EKM 2022.
On March 30th, 2022, the live premiere of the 2nd Euregionale Kongress Messe EKM started in Halle 60 in Aachen. After the hybrid 1. EKMonline in December 2020, the working group innovations and skilled workers in the industry dialogue Aachen now offered with the combination of trade fair, industrial exhibition and technical program to offer companies an all-round package of information and the opportunity to network in the region.
With the euregional technology transfer PROTECA of the Cluster of Excellence Internet of Production IoP of the RWTH Aachen and the Innovation Transfer (IVT) of the FH Aachen, the field of science and research is also represented in the working group INNOfach of the Industry Dialog. In the expert forum, in two joint lecture slots, information on opportunities for networking and cooperation on the part of the universities was presented by Dr. Johannes Mandelartz, Head of Innovation Transfer FH Aachen and Melanie Buchsbaum, Managing Director of the Cluster of Excellence Internet of Production IoP, and invited to open dialogue.
